Miami, FL – Ever since news hit the streets and the net that Poe Boy recording artist Billy Blue was releasing his next mixtape, the anticipation rose to an all time high. His last mixtape ‘36 Reasons: Reloaded’ was at the top of the list as the hottest mixtape for the entire summer of 2010 causing a huge commotion amongst the industry. Literally months later, first quarter 2011, Blue is already set to release the next phenomenal mixtape full of brand new material interestingly entitled ‘Blumanatti.’

Following the sudden leak of ‘Go Gangsta,’ rumors behind the release were already looming in the air. The single was then released days later as it was obvious the world couldn’t wait. Blumanatti is said to be the mixtape to surpass that of ’36 Reasons: Reloaded,’ last year’s street album that set Billy Blue apart from everyone else. From the Miami Emcee’s perspective, this mixtape deals more on a personal side of his life that very few people know about. Through his inspirations, he allows his fans to step into his mind as he tells you stories about his past, present, and future. With production from literally the hottest beatmakers in the industry today, his elemental delivery blends right into the beat. With ‘The Renegades behind the helm on ‘Go Gangsta’ alone, it already sets the tone for what the world is definitely patiently waiting for. Features on the mixtape include Mannie Fresh, Young Chris, Jimmy Dade, and labelmates Brisco and Ghostwridah. ‘Blumanatti’ is hosted by Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, DatPiff.com, 24HourHipHop.com and Poe Boy Music Group with the mixing talents of DJ Smokey Bear.

As far as his styles and influences, Blue states that: “What sets me apart from everyone in this game is my life experiences. I have been through so many crazy struggles and I rap about things I know – things I have been through. I am another normal person from the streets,
was NOT my life – it was not something that I was destined to do, it is something that saved me from this messed up life that I have lived. I have regrets but I was trying to survive, I am thankful that I do not have to live that life anymore and I promise to give back once I make it.”

‘Blumanatti’ has been scheduled to be released on March 1st to Hip-Hop media outlets across the net. If you’ll in Miami, the official release party will be held at Sobe Live on Saturday, March 5th. Many artists are scheduled to in the building including the entire Poe Boy Family.

BIO

Born Pedritho Dorsonne in New Rochelle, NY to Haitian immigrants, Billy Blue’s stage name came from his many trials and tribulations while growing up. His life story sounds more like a movie script than real life; the promising artist signed to Interscope through a joint venture with Poe Boy Music Group, Akon’s Konvict Music and Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group has lived a dangerously fast and mostly tragic lifestyle. In fact, he would say music saved his life. At the formative age of 10, Blue’s mother passed away. This life changing occurrence would lead to his first nickname – Blue.

Never really finding joy in school or with friends once she passed, his schoolmates quickly named him “Blue” because he was always sad. When she died, he and his two sisters assumed they would live with their father, but their dad had other plans. Instead of taking in his own flesh and blood, he transferred his estranged wife’s social security checks to his sister in North Miami and shuffled his kin to reside with her and her two sons. This was the beginning of a long nightmare for Billy. His older sister, ten years his senior, quickly got a job and moved out of the house. His younger sister, five years his junior, was taken care of – Blue, on the other hand, was neglected. Instead of treating him like a member of the family, Blue’s aunt kicked him out of the house, making him sleep in her backyard. To this day, he has no idea why. Not only did being virtually homeless at such a young age rob Blue of a childhood, it also put him in the precarious position of doing whatever it took to get a dollar in order to eat. His survival techniques earned him his other moniker, Billy – as in Billy the Kid.

eMERGE Fashion Trade Show Went Down in Miami

May 3, 2010

eMERGE Trade Show took place in Miami at the Hilton in Downtown, April 27-28th. It was truly an amazing experience. My partner Ray and I put on a show that we have never done in our lives and we are truly blessed for the turnout. There were exhibitors from as far as way as London, Canada and various cities in the USA.

Much love to Ray for holding it down in Miami while I was in Virginia! We just mesh well and made the event happen. Our hard work and dedication payed off as our exhibitors were pleased, the press came out, retailers and many more.

April 28th was the fashion show put on by Delilah with Fior Entertainment and it was absolutely amazing. The headliners were Lila Nikole Collection and Fashion by Azucar. Music was provided by none other than DJ Entice (Flo Rida's DJ/WEDR-FM 99 Jamz). It was just amazing. If you missed out on this event, you truly missed something special. Don't worry there is next year when it is going to be bigger and better than this one.

Press Release

eMERGE Trade Show takes Miami by Storm
(Miami, FL-May 3, 2010) – eMERGE had its 1st Annual Fashion Trade Show last week on April 27-28, 2010 in Miami, FL at the beautiful Hilton in Downtown.

The first day (April 27th) was filled with a meet and greet between exhibiting designers and the media.
Exhibitors had a chance to gain recognition through media outlets by interviews, blog write ups and much more. Following the meet and greet, the new exhibitors to the fashion world were given a chance to warm up and speak with retailers about their collections and they all did a fabulous job.

The second day (April 28th) was an action packed day with more retailers and press visiting with designers to lead up to the fashion show. Fior Entertainment produced the fashion show and the headliners were Lila Nikole Collection and Fashion by Azucar. Music was provided by DJ Entice (Flo Rida's DJ/WEDR-FM 99 Jamz). All exhibiting designers were given the opportunity to showcase their collections in the fashion show, which was a huge incentive for many that have never had this opportunity. Especially for this take place in a city such as Miami.

The following brands participated in eMERGE Trade Show:

Absolute Monarchy-Apparel Reserve-BAYMAAC Clothing
Bird Club Clothing-Evolution for Humanity-Epic Glory Clothing
Fashion by Azucar-FMF Collection-Funkey Flash Back-Jbon Clothing-JLR-Julie Zihal-Lila Nikole Collection-Miss Magou-NVEuro Clothing-Sunkissed Curls/3rcpages.com-Time to Learn Novels and T-Shirts

eMERGE is proud to say that every collection that exhibited was a true work of art and that every designer has a great career ahead of them. They came from the United States, Canada and London because they believed in eMERGE Trade Show.

eMERGE is an innovative fashion trade show for upcoming and emerging brands, to showcase
their collections to the best boutiques and retailers. Most conventional trade shows do not focus
their attention on independent companies that are yearning for exposure in the fashion market.
eMERGE is here to assist these brands in growing their business to become the next big “IT”
FACTOR. Brands attending eMERGE are breaking barriers and aren’t afraid to take risks to be
a recognizable force in the market, and therefore, they will….”ARISE AND CONQUER”

Ghostwridah "Red Bottoms" Produced by Don Cannon

By Funkey Flash Back on 9:09 AM

"Sorry to disappoint any, uh, spanking fetishists who may be reading – Ghostwridah‘s latest feature has absolutely nothing to do with sore posteriors. The Red Bottoms referred to on the inaugural leak off the emcee’s forthcoming mixtape (making its world premiere in the Booth!), are the kind found on all Louboutin high heel shoes, as referenced in Hova‘s I Know. Here, the Miami native calls attention to a seldom-discussed, but very real ailment that preys on the pocketbooks of women and, sometimes, the men who love them: the shopping addiction. Backed by Don Cannon‘s glitzy synth instrumental (and mixed by Miami Beat Wave), Ghost describes the havoc that lavish spending can wreak on the lives of females, from college-aged vixens to thirtysomething mothers. Imploring women with a fetish for luxury goods to step away from the mirror and open their eyes to the bigger picture, the artist sends a lyrical message rarely heard in the appearance-obsessed world of popular music. For more insightful rhymes and hot beats, check out Ghostwridah’s ImFlashy.com/DJBooth.net-cosponsored In Love With My Future LP when it drops in early March." - DJ booth
