I have been following LRG for quite some time now and this is a brand that I look up to and have given me inspiration. If you are a upcoming and emerging brand, you should read this article. eMERGE Trade Show took place in Miami at the Hilton in Downtown, April 27-28th. It was truly an amazing experience. My partner Ray and I put on a show that we have never done in our lives and we are truly blessed for the turnout. There were exhibitors from as far as way as London, Canada and various cities in the USA.
Much love to Ray for holding it down in Miami while I was in Virginia! We just mesh well and made the event happen. Our hard work and dedication payed off as our exhibitors were pleased, the press came out, retailers and many more.
April 28th was the fashion show put on by Delilah with Fior Entertainment and it was absolutely amazing. The headliners were Lila Nikole Collection and Fashion by Azucar. Music was provided by none other than DJ Entice (Flo Rida's DJ/WEDR-FM 99 Jamz). It was just amazing. If you missed out on this event, you truly missed something special. Don't worry there is next year when it is going to be bigger and better than this one.

(Miami, FL-May 3, 2010) – eMERGE had its 1st Annual Fashion Trade Show last week on April 27-28, 2010 in Miami, FL at the beautiful Hilton in Downtown.
The first day (April 27th) was filled with a meet and greet between exhibiting designers and the media.
Exhibitors had a chance to gain recognition through media outlets by interviews, blog write ups and much more. Following the meet and greet, the new exhibitors to the fashion world were given a chance to warm up and speak with retailers about their collections and they all did a fabulous job.

October 17, 2009 was quite a beautiful fall day in Charlottesville, VA, where I attended the wedding ceremony of a great friend, Jennifer Mapp to Matthew Bressan. As you can see in the picture shown above they are such a beautiful couple. Obviously, The Washington Post did an article on them.
Her beautiful gown was designed by Christian Siriano from Project Runway and it was gorgeous.

YD&HS (Young Dumb and High Strung) is a line developed by xtianMaiko straight out of Virginia Beach, the hometown. When he told me the name I knew it was catchy but then I saw the designs he had I was like these are going to sell and go a long ways. I don't say much about many peoples clothing lines but I like what this kid is doing. I would wear it myself and that says a lot.
Some of his designs will release soon, so make sure you follow him and stay in touch so you can cop some gear.
