Racial Integration

I have been a person that comes from a family that accepts people for who they are based on their personality and individuality. Never was I told to not like a person for the color of their skin or their culture. It was always an encouragement to embrace others for their culture diversity.

This is 2009 and people are still acting like we are in 1809. It is cool that we all have our inner circle of friends and people we may connect with, but break out of that to some degree this year and get to know someone that is different from yourself, you might actually learn something. I have a big pet peeve on racism, I hate it!! Some of my best friends growing up were Filipino and White and I am so happy that I have met people from all walks of like and learned so much. It is something if you are African American and all your friends or anybody you communicate with is only African America, the same for Asians, Caucasians, Middle Easterns, Hispanics and so on.

Lastly, don't come to this country thinking you are better than any other race and that you are too good to deal with black people or hispanic people or any other race for that matter. We are all people, we bleed the same blood...RED! Stop teaching your kids to dislike people because they are light or dark and just teach them to love. It is ok to love someone outside of your culture.

Racial Integration will make America a whole lot better. When you speak to people in other countries, they say that is so stupid, we are not like this in our country, who cares. You don't have to worry in the next 10-20 years their will be no white or black race, it will mostly be mixed.

Love people for being them and not what they look like and where they come from. If you were taught this hate, maybe one day you will find it in your heart that we are all the same. True love is colorblind
