Kanye Collaborates with Louis Vuitton

Kanye West unveiled some of the samples of the shoes that he has collaborated with Louis Vuitton on and they are simplistic with a futuristic edge. I like the materials that were used and how he has the heel in the back for you to tuck your jeans so that they will not drag. These are definitely not like your typical LV sneakers, so big ups to Kanye on this one.
MLK Jr Day: I HAVE A DREAM THAT HAS NOW BECOME A VISION

Happy Birthday to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr! This year he would have been 80 years old. This man was the leader of the Civil Rights Movement which is the reason most of this is happening here today with the inauguration of our first African American President, Barack Obama some 46 years later.
Dr. King fought so hard in his short life span to bring hope and equality to all men that live in America. Living during a time when it was very hard for a black man to get any respect outside of his community. His march on Washington and delivering the "I HAVE A DREAM" speech has forever changed our history. Little do people know or maybe care to know that black Americans have done so much for this country. They have done so intellectually and also physically. We built the Capitol building in Washington DC with our bare hands. Now one day we can finally see the light. This does not mean in any way that it has changed the minds of all people because it truly has not.
My mother, father and grandmother and many more lived in the time of Segregation and for my mother and father to be able to see and witness various changes in history is such a blessing. Dr. King, there will never be another like him. I thank God that he fought for men of all races for the poor. As a matter of fact, to all of you history teachers out there, why don't make the kids learn the "I HAVE A DREAM" speech in addition to the other speeches from American History?
Excerpt from the "I HAVE A DREAM" Speech: "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'"
Hopefully one day we will see each other as equals past our skin colors. Times like this we have closet racists and they are not open and there are plenty of them. Everyone that has taken the time and gone to Washington DC this weekend for the Barack Obama Inauguration have taken the first step in establishing a true community based on coming together despite the racial differences.
Martin Luther King, Jr had a dream that has now become a vision!
Please take the time and watch the speech and the march back in 1963

GM cancels 50 Cent's G8 Truck
General Motors Corporation has confirmed today (January 7) plans to cancel the Pontiac G8, a 50 Cent sponsored sport truck.
The two-door, six-foot bed vehicle was scheduled to debut in North America in 2010.
50 Cent first introduced the G8 sport truck last March at the New York International Auto Show.
In a statement to the Associated Press, Pontiac spokesman Jim Hopson stated the cancellation is part of a restructuring plan within GM due to the recession and the company’s long-term “vision for Pontiac.”
Furthermore, Hopson clarified that the canceled truck does not change production plans for other G8 vehicles.
The latest setback for 50 comes as MTV canceled the mogul’s high-profile reality show 50 Cent: The Money and the Power.
Citing listless ratings, the network cut the show after just six episodes and has declined to green light a second season.
50 will be moving forward with the release his fourth studio album Before I Self-Destruct, which is now scheduled for February 3 release.
The highly anticipated LP will be packaged with an original movie by the same title, which marks 50’s directorial debut.
The just finalized track listing showcases four tracks produced by Dr. Dre, and additional production from Hi-Tek, DJ Khalil, Don Cannon, Red Spyda, Scott Storch, and J.R. Totem.
The streamlined guest-list features G-Unit, Eminem, Swizz Beatz, Nate Dogg, and Dr. Dre.

Racial Integration
By Funkey Flash Back on 10:25 PM
Filed Under: african american, asian, caucasian, hispanic, integration, love, racial
I have been a person that comes from a family that accepts people for who they are based on their personality and individuality. Never was I told to not like a person for the color of their skin or their culture. It was always an encouragement to embrace others for their culture diversity.
This is 2009 and people are still acting like we are in 1809. It is cool that we all have our inner circle of friends and people we may connect with, but break out of that to some degree this year and get to know someone that is different from yourself, you might actually learn something. I have a big pet peeve on racism, I hate it!! Some of my best friends growing up were Filipino and White and I am so happy that I have met people from all walks of like and learned so much. It is something if you are African American and all your friends or anybody you communicate with is only African America, the same for Asians, Caucasians, Middle Easterns, Hispanics and so on.
Lastly, don't come to this country thinking you are better than any other race and that you are too good to deal with black people or hispanic people or any other race for that matter. We are all people, we bleed the same blood...RED! Stop teaching your kids to dislike people because they are light or dark and just teach them to love. It is ok to love someone outside of your culture.
Racial Integration will make America a whole lot better. When you speak to people in other countries, they say that is so stupid, we are not like this in our country, who cares. You don't have to worry in the next 10-20 years their will be no white or black race, it will mostly be mixed.
Love people for being them and not what they look like and where they come from. If you were taught this hate, maybe one day you will find it in your heart that we are all the same. True love is colorblind
